Bre’an Fox

Principal and Sr. Designer

Bre’an started Facility Solutions Design Group in 1992 responding to the need that companies had for full service planning and design, as well as project coordination and relocation services. As Principal in charge, Bre’an is involved in all of the company’s projects with primary participation during the early phases of Programming, Test Fit Planning & Comparative Analysis, Schematic Design Concept Development, Budget and Schedule assistance.

Bre’an obtained her degree in Interior Design in Long Beach, California in 1979 and began her career in San Diego focusing on both the design and construction of commercial office space. In 1984, she joined a northern California firm and spent eight years developing multi-tenant office projects in San Diego and the San Francisco Bay Area, and designing a wide range of workspaces for tenants who leased these properties.

With her background in design, construction and real estate development, Bre’an understands the roles and goals of each member on the project team. Over the years, she and her staff have become an invaluable resource to large and small companies all over San Diego County as they engage in the process of planning, designing, constructing and moving into their new spaces.

Jeff Hines

Sr. Designer

Jeff has been part of the Facility Solutions Design Group team for 17 years. Jeff collaborates closely with our clients to develop design concepts resulting in spaces that reflect the culture and style of the client while meeting the program requirements. Clients have included The San Diego Foundation, Sony Online Entertainment, Two Jinn, Inc., and law firms such as Allen Matkins, Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear, and Stutz Artiano Shinoff & Holtz. His talents are also utilized working with building owners and brokers to re-image the interior and exteriors of commercial properties addressing both aesthetic and programmatic changes.

Jeff obtained his Bachelors Degree in Business Management at USD, completed his Interior Design Degree at UCLA, and has since earned his NCIQD Certificate No. 28912. Jeff is also a part time instructor at the Design Institute of San Diego, working with 1st, 2nd and 4th year students.

Amy Tobia

Sr. Designer

With 18 years of commercial interior design experience, Amy excels in guiding clients through all aspects of the design and construction process. She has extensive experience programming and planning workplace environments for companies seeking to develop diverse and flexible interiors within a budget. Amy provides pre-leasing, space planning, interior design and project management support for our corporate end-users and property managers.

A graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Amy is also a Certified Interior Designer with the State of California #06243 and earned her NCIDQ Certificate No. 022627 in 2006. Amy has been employed as a commercial interior designer in San Diego since relocating from Kansas City in 2005 where she was the Design and Marketing Director for Scott Rice Office Works.

Marissa Clow

Designer

Marissa joins Facility Solutions Design Group after graduating with her Bachelors in Interior Design and a minor in Product Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2014. Marissa was an active participant in the College of Architecture as an ambassador as well as various architecture and design activities such as IIDA. A native of Irvine, California she brings with her a passion for commercial interior design.

Marissa is looking forward to becoming a Certified Interior Designer by passing the NCIDQ. She enjoys keeping up with the latest in the Interior Design industry and gaining experience working on office tenant improvements, common areas, healthcare, and exterior building reimaging.

Jennifer Sun

Designer

Jennifer joined Facility Solutions Design Group in mid 2014 and brings with her 4 years of experience in both commercial and residential interior design. With her Associate’s degree in Fashion Design and Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with an emphasis in marketing from University of California San Diego, she contributes graphic design expertise and alternative inspiration to the design approach.

Mary Craven

Office Manager

Mary has been keeping the Facility Solutions Design Group office and staff members on track for the past 17 years. She supports the design team by coordinating software training and frequent product presentations with our industry representatives, and she handles all aspects of accounting, ITservices, insurance and general office operations.

Mary is integral to our client relations and has developed many valuable relationships by employing the excellent customer services skills she acquired during her previous experience working in the mortgage loan industry and in property management.
