Neve Noriega, Design Assistant: bio

Neve recently celebrated her 2-year anniversary with FS Design Group. She joined the team as an intern while she completed her associate’s degree in interior design from Mesa College. Neve worked her way up to her current role while working part-time and going to school full-time to complete her degree. She will earn her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University in spring 2025.

Neve was initially influenced by her mother’s career in interior design and facility management. Through her studies and her internship at FS Design Group, she was able to confirm that commercial interior design is also her passion.  

Having now advanced from intern to design assistant, Neve’s supports every step of the design process, whether it’s selecting materials or communicating with the contractors and project managers during the construction admin phase. Her goal is to be a helping hand for the designers, assisting them in any way she can. By doing so, she has had the opportunity to collaborate with the design team on a wide range of healthcare and tenant improvement projects.

Neve says she’ll always be fine-tuning her eye for interior design and enjoys observing other designed spaces for inspiration. “I realize how much of an effect interior design has even if people aren’t aware of its influence in the moment,” she said.

Neve was born and raised in San Diego. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, specifically mysteries and psychological thrillers. She also loves ceramics and creating handmade gifts for loved ones.
